This is only possible if you are always “sensitive” wherever you`re. If I think about it, the song I played as the first song at the Tokyo Dome show also emerged from a certain meeting. During production, I was wondering if there were any artists I didn't know that I could make music with. Then I asked a part-time DJ at a cafe what kind of music he was listening to these days. When I said, “I'm looking for a good demo”, and he said to me, “I know someone who makes a good demo”. He asked me, “Do you want to listen to it when you are relaxing?”, that's when I listened to the music, and it turned out to be a really good song. So, I immediately contacted that person and asked them to create music for me.
We can't know that from the number of followers. I really thought so. There`re still many young and talented people who are not yet known to the world. I want more great talents to be discovered, and want to collaborate and meet new talents. I would be happy if more people could share their talents through this opportunity. This is also one of the reasons why I`m active as a solo artist.
It seems like you're very good at using your time even when you're busy, like going out on your own to scout for talents. Are you someone who really emphasizes efficiency? Hummm, Well...I'd like to emphasize efficiency, but there`re many cases where things don't work well. I often wasting my time🙃
Now, “NYLON JAPAN” is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, so can you flashback to what you did 20 years ago? I'm 24 years old! At that time, I wanted to get better at dancing. At that time, I was really bad at dancing. There was a strong feeling that I wasn't good at dancing.
But, you were in an environment where you had to dance, right? That's right (LOL)😅 When I met a dancer I admired, my mindset completely changed. When I saw someone dancing, I wanted to dance like that, so I took dancing lessons for about a year. And thanks to that, I fell in love with dancing.
Did you get rid of your complex there? You got it…That was about 20 years ago, when I was about 24 years old.
That was a pretty turning point, right? Yes... Maybe because of that meeting I still continues to dance even now. Maybe because of that meeting I still dance until now. The more you pursue dance, the deeper it becomes, so I think there are dances that can only be performed by young people, and there`re also dances that can't be expressed until you`re older.
That means there are limits to your dancing performance depending on age, but it's great to hear you're taking things further with ease. Dancing is based on joy or hobby, so if you want to dance, you can dance, even if they`re elderly. Of course, the level and intensity may be different compared to when I was younger, but I can still express myself just by shaking my body, and that's all part of dance. your body frees you and if you find it enjoyable, then it becomes a beautiful dance, so I want to keep dancing.
And what kind of future vision do you have in 20 years? Hummm..I'm 64 years old…😅I thought I'd live a semi-retired life and relaxing (LOL)😂 And at that time, I just wanted to do what I liked. It would be great if I could pursue my hobby.

Cactus ?! Yes..This has been my hobby for the past few years, and now I`ve more than 20 pots at home😁
What is the charm of cacti? After all, cacti are living organisms. Cacti are difficult to understand, but they`re growing properly. There`re adult cacti that have strange shapes and there`re small cacti that have cute shapes...😂All of them are covered with thorns, but in spring, all types bloom with beautiful flowers. Depending on how they are planted, they may or may not bloom, so it depends on how well we take care of the cactus.
Have you already seen beautiful flowers blooming this year? Bloomed🌸When I look at those flowers, I feel peace and happy. It's a bit difficult to take care more than 20 pots (LOL)😂
